Beneath the morning’s gentle veil, as the sleeping desert was only beginning to wake, a brave little scarab stirred. Driven by an invisible impulse, it reared up to catch the glints of the dawning day. In an age-old gesture, it raised its legs towards the heavens to welcome the blazing orb.

Poised between shadow and the radiance of morning, it reached reverently towards the primordial red sun, bearer of the promise of renewal. Thus, true to its timeless calling, the little scarab celebrated the light, reminding the world that every morning is a rebirth.

With the skill of an alchemist, it stretched its legs into the cool air, gathering beads of water suspended in the light mist. Gently, it let them trickle down its body to its mouth, savouring each drop bestowed by the silence of morning before the heat transformed the plain into an ocean of burning sand.

Fascinated by the scene, the diamond child watched the insect, his mind full of questions.
